The Corvette Stingray Is My American Dream |

You might get some arguments, but for me the all-American car has got to be the Corvette. For over fifty years, Chevrolet has been producing these high-performance sports cars, and no matter whether it's a classic 1963 Corvette Stingray split-window coupé, a simple untrimmed 1973 Corvette Stingray, or a sleek and powerful 2005 Corvette convertible, each of these sleek automobiles can still cause heads to snap and jaws to drop.
The Corvette has a rich history, and the car has gone through many transformations. Corvette clubs all across North America get together in shopping mall parking lots, state fairs, and other exhibitions, and you can listen to them talk Corvette Stingray history all Sunday afternoon while they polish and chamois their little babies.
No other car in America is as recognizable and revered as much as the Corvette. While there are other muscle cars that portray and project an individual's personality, nothing can outperform other vehicles whether its on the highway, or just sitting in the driveway. If there's a better American car than a Corvette you'd rather be leaning against when you're at the beach, I'd like to know about it. |
